The terms for using Cert Certified, including what our ratings are and are not. The short version: we publish honest, sourced information to help you decide, but the decision and its outcome are yours.

By using certcertified.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Cert Certified ("we", "us", "our") is an independent editorial site, and these terms apply to everyone who visits.
Cert Certified publishes general editorial information about professional certifications, based on job-posting demand and government wage data. It is not career, financial, tax, legal, medical, or other professional advice, and it is not tailored to your situation. Nothing on the site is a promise or guarantee of a job, a salary, an exam result, or any particular outcome. Demand and pay change, individual results vary, and a high tier is a signal, not a guarantee. You are responsible for your own decisions, and for any certification, exam, or purchase you choose to pursue. For advice specific to your circumstances, consult a qualified professional.
We work hard to be accurate and to show our sources, and our methodology page explains exactly how each rating is built. Even so, the underlying data has real limits: postings are snapshots rather than a continuous feed, sample sizes vary by certification, and mapping a certification to one occupation is a judgment call. The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may update, correct, or remove content at any time without notice.
The content on Cert Certified, including the ratings, written reviews, methodology, data presentation, and design, is owned by Cert Certified and protected by intellectual-property law. You are welcome to read and share links to it for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or build a competing dataset from our content without our written permission.
Certification names and marks (for example, CISSP, Security+, PMP, CFA, and others) are the trademarks of their respective owners. Cert Certified is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any certifying body, exam provider, or trademark owner. We reference these names only to identify and describe the certifications we review.
The site links to third-party websites, including certifying bodies, exam providers, and retailers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, products, accuracy, or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cert Certified and anyone associated with it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision you make or action you take based on the site, including decisions about pursuing a certification, taking an exam, or making a purchase. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in unauthorized ways. You agree to be responsible for your own use of the information you find here.
We may update these terms as the site evolves. When we do, we will revise the date at the top, and your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the site or these terms will be subject to the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
